"Our four-legged friends are leading the fashion industry and setting trends. They’re strutting down runways. They’re penning books. They’re headlining in shows. . ."

 

A product of my illustration studies in Prague, these fabulously fashionable pups were created in synthesis with this article by Brittany Chaffee.

I was tasked with designing illustrations for a written article in a way that not only supplemented the text and offered context, but also captured the personality of the written tone and drew readers in.

My focus was on creating playful images of a variety of dog breeds, allowing them to inhabit the text in a way that would intrigue the reader and guide them through the article. I used specific breeds to show off the different fashions mentioned in the article, as well as to create a caricature of the breeds, nodding to dogs' fashion typically mimicking that of their owners'.
