Kenopsia: the eerie atmosphere of a place that is usually bustling with people but now abandoned.

Kenopsia is a 2D animated short film inspired by it's namesake, following a woman who's hastened trip out of her apartment reveals that not everything is as it seems.

Tasked with creating a story using one randomized word alone, I decided to explore Adobe After Effects as an avenue to bring illustration to life. Kenopsia is my first exploration of 2D animation and is defined by a very strong sense of graphic language, geometry, and a noir-like flair.
